We live to discover and share the love of Jesus Christ through a quality Christian education.
By keeping our school size small, your kids are able to be connected and known by their teachers, our staff, and their friends. When that connection is combined with an award-winning education, leadership development, and Christian values, students flourish and become well-prepared for whatever life brings their way.

What is the Messiah Difference?
There are great schools all around St. Charles. Here’s what makes us different:

Unwavering faith in Jesus Christ
Helping students develop a love for Jesus is the foundation of our school. We partner with you to help your kids grow in their faith and become confident in Christ’s love for them.

Caring relationships
A teacher isn’t just your teacher for one year. At Messiah, our faculty is your child’s cheerleader and advocate throughout their years at Messiah and beyond.

Realized potential and academic excellence
As a National Blue Ribbon school, our academics have been recognized as performing at the highest levels. Over 60% of our teachers have advanced degrees or specialty education.

Leadership and poise
We help you equip and raise up the next generation of leaders. Messiah students get age-appropriate experience leading large and small groups in a supportive environment. Public speaking and leadership skills benefit our students throughout their lives.

Emphasis on serving the community
We are all a part of something bigger than ourselves. Messiah students learn from a young age the importance of serving all people, both in our local area and around the world.

Fun matters at Messiah
Growing up is challenging sometimes, so we balance hard work and character development with fun, exciting activities that create core memories for our students.
Student safety is a priority for us.
We follow best practices and guidelines from law enforcement authorities to ensure our school is prepared to respond to an emergency situation.
Our safety protocols include regular drills to ensure that our students and staff are familiar with our procedures in case of an emergency.
Our campus is equipped with security cameras and locked exterior doors.

We do this by providing exceptional Christian teachers who are passionate about meeting the needs of their students, by providing a warm and caring environment that promotes learning and Christian living, and by achieving high quality learning resulting from effective instruction and relevant curriculum.
Are you accredited?
Yes. Messiah Lutheran School is fully accredited through National Lutheran School Accreditation and Mission Non-Public School Accreditation.
The accreditation team evaluating our school stated Messiah’s strength is “the loving Christian atmosphere where classrooms are well-managed and faculty and students support one another.”
How do your test scores compare to other schools?
We administer the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) Measures of Academic Progress Assessment to evaluate and promote students’ academic growth and learning achievements. Based on student scores, our culture, programs, staff, and curriculum, we were named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2013.

Yes! Our Admissions page has the most up-to-date information about our extended care services, including pricing and times available.
Do you offer sports or other extracurriculars?
We believe in developing the full student, including activities outside typical classwork. At Messiah, we offer musical productions, and sports leagues for Soccer, Cross-Country, Track, Basketball, Volleyball, and Cheerleading. Our music programs include Praise Team (vocal), strings, and piano.
Are you funded by Messiah Lutheran Church?
We are supported in part through fundraising and contributions from the Church but the majority of our annual income is from student fees and tuition.
If my child attends, am I required to join Messiah Lutheran Church?
Not at all! Our goal is to support families in their walk of faith by providing Christ-centered education. When necessary, we can be a primary source for faith development of students. If you have a church home – great! If you don’t, we’d certainly love for you to join us in worship but it is not a requirement to attend the school.
