I am so excited to get to know and serve the Messiah staff, students, and families! Here is a little about me. First and foremost, I am a child of God and love teaching the littlest learners about Jesus! I also love being “mama” to my two sweet and silly little girls. My hobbies include crafting, sewing, reading, and enjoying time with my family.

I was a stay-at-home mom for four years, until I returned to teaching for the 2019-20 school year. I am excited to start my second year teaching preschool here at Messiah! I grew-up in the area attending Immanuel Lutheran School in Wentzville and then Lutheran High before I made the trek to Concordia University-Wisconsin to study Early Childhood Education. After graduating, I was called to serve at Sunbeams Lutheran School in Washington state where I taught pre-kindergarten for a year and Kindergarten for four years. My favorite thing about teaching in the early childhood years is seeing the excitement for learning and all the growth that can happen in a year.

I love doing hands-on and open-ended projects, especially in art and science! During our final year of living in Washington, I stayed home with my daughter and completed my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in the Early Childhood through Concordia University-Portland. Our time in the Pacific Northwest was such amazing blessing for our family, but we are now blessed by having our families nearby and by our church and school family here at Messiah.
